Stunning 100 sq.m. third and top floor apartment overlooking internal gardens and courtyards in a very charming historic centre setting. The layout consists of a spacious day area with an open space plan featuring a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area: at night there are two large double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The building is located in the west side end of Lucca historic centre. Quiet area, far enough from crowds and stores to avoid daily life noises and at the same time only few steps from everything. Groceries, cafès, bars, restaurants and all the historic sites, say everything is only few steps away from the front-door.
Also: the access to the promenade of the city's walls is just at the end of the street. The building itself deserves a mention. Dating back to 1630 - as the inscription MDCXXX visible on the external facade attests - it used to be a convent of nuns. Then abandoned for a long long period it was bought and totally restored by the current owner about 15 years ago.
The result is this beautiful, elegant and comfortable place to stay and even to live!
The main entrance of the building is large, clean and well kept.
